Reducing Heating Bills and Carbon Footprints

There is a pressing need to reduce global carbon emissions to prevent catastrophic and irreversible climate change. Energreen is committed to playing its part in addressing the risks of climate change, including cutting the carbon emissions of its operations. Collectively we are on track to meet the 2025 carbon reduction target we set in 2016, and are now setting our next target to 2030, in line with the aims of the Paris Agreement. Our target is supported by climate science and aligned with keeping global temperature rises to 1.5°C.

What we do

Energy Performance Certificates

A new Energy Performance Certificate – is a four-page document that is a legal requirement within seven days of a property being marketed for sale or for rent.

EPCs set out the energy efficiency of a property on a traffic light system of A to G – A being the most efficient, providing an indication of how much it will cost to heat and power a property. It also includes recommendations of energy-efficient improvements, the cost of carrying them out, and the potential savings that each one could generate.

2035 Retrofit Assessments

PAS 2035 has been developed as part of the Each Home Counts process and is the over-arching document in the retrofit standards framework, with which holders of the quality mark will be required to comply when carrying out domestic retrofit work.

The process  is designed to improve the quality of retrofit work for domestic properties. Ensuring that funding from banks and lenders is used towards good quality work which will actually improve the energy efficiency of housing.

Domestic Heat Loss Calculations

Full technical site survey including room by room heat loss calculations and Micro-Generation Certificate Scheme (MCS) calculations.

A legal requirement for a project looking to fit an Air or Ground source heat pump and obtain Renewable Heat Incentive Payments or other government grants.

Included is a full heat emitter report with recommended emitter upgrades as per MCS guidelines.
